Want a real challenge? A Handicap match pits a single WWE Superstar or WWE Legend against two allied opponents. It’s tough challenging one member of the greatest roster in WWE history, so imagine taking on two of them at the same time! Surviving while outnumbered in the ring takes a strong defense and good tactics. Practice up readers, cause this one is a barnburner and if you aren’t ready for the challenge. It could get “bowling shoe ugly,” to quote WWE Hall of Famer and WWE All Stars in-game commentator, Jim Ross.
Among the achievements and trophies for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users, competing in Handicap matches have two different achievements that can be obtained, both of which can be obtained simulataneously.
The common achievement is by winning a Handicap match for the first time, earning the Beating the Odds achievement that contributes 15 points for an Xbox 360 user's Gamerscore and a Bronze Trophy for PS3 users.
The second is a secret achievement called Booyaka Booyaka. The user must select Rey Mysterio, who is the smallest wrestler in the game, then win a Handicap match against a team of WWE's greatest giants, Andre the Giant and the Big Show. On paper, not only is it a 2-on-1 disadvantage, but Mysterio is outweighed 175 to the giants' combined weight of 985 pounds. Unlocking this achievement contributes 10 points for an Xbox 360 user's Gamerscore and a Bronze Trophy for PS3 users.
